We are happy to announce the latest commercial release (2.13) of LedaFlow Engineering with several great improvements.
What is new?
- A model for gas bubble entrainment in stratified flow has been introduced which is specifically intended for cases with high gas/liquid density ratios (e.g. CO2 at relatively high pressure). This new model improves the slug flow predictions for such cases.
- The Multiflash interface now supports multithreading, which particularly improves the performance for CO2 cases. Note that Multiflash 7.5.22 is now the default version.
- Slug capturing cases (run with the “new solver”) now supports dispersion models, sand transport and wax deposition.
- Improvements to devices:
- Gas Lift Valves (leak device) can now be defined with a GLV correlation
- The pressure loss device is now available for use in annulus pipes
- The simple pump can now be controlled by a controller
- New tuning options are available.
