LedaFlow 2.12 is now available!

We are happy to announce the latest commercial release (2.12) of LedaFlow Engineering with several great improvements.

What is new?

LedaFlow Engineering v2.12 offers many great improvements. To name just a few:

  • It is now possible to simulate operations involving drilling mud, e.g. well clean-up, for composition tracking cases which includes CO2.
  • The new solver has a new energy equation, which has less numerical diffusion and enables tighter coupling between mass and energy equations. It now supports custom fluid tracking, at the exception of wax and sand deposition (not yet supported).
  • A new model has been added which simulates the effect of wax aging. When this model is enabled the oil fraction in the wall deposit is dynamically calculated.
  • LedaFlow now supports Multiflash 7.5, the CPA-GERG thermodynamic model and the Lennard-Jones viscosity model.
  • The user manual now explains how to tune the P and I coefficients of PID controllers. It is now possible to plot the dimensionless error, which makes it easier to visualize what the controller is doing.

LedaLink, which is used for instance by the CO2LINK controller to integrate LedaFlow and GEM, has also been improved: this new release offers a higher performance of the gRPC communication and a set of devices and boundaries are now supported.

Where can LedaFlow 2.12 be downloaded?

LedaFlow users with a valid Maintenance & Support agreement will soon receive an email with a link to download LedaFlow Engineering v2.12.273.021.
